What is PayFree? Why do I need to have one?
PayFree is simply a secure and reliable electronic wallet (e-wallet) or online repository that stores money that you deposit. PayFree technology enables members to enjoy the benefits of a virtual currency to make secure online, over-the-counter, ATM and mobile phone transactions without the use of credit cards. Your PayFree may be used to transfer funds to beneficiaries, to make online payments for goods to merchants, to accept payments from other PayFree members and to withdraw money.
The PayFree eWallet stores your transaction history which may be viewed online from your home page.

How does PayFree work?
Your PayFree account is a secure location to hold your funds until you are ready to use them. It does not require you to maintain a minimum balance. You can add funds to your account through our several funding methods and you can withdraw/transfer your funds from your account.
Transferring funds to others is the greatest benefit of PayFree. You can send money to others for free and the recipient pays a minimum amount for receiving the funds.
How do I register? Is there a fee to join?
Registration is free. Two ways to register: online and SMS
A. Online
Register online at https://www.payfree.com.ph/signup.asp. After submitting online form, you will receive an email to confirm registration. If you entered your mobile phone number, you will also receive a PIN code for confirmation.
B. SMS (via Text Message)

Does Payfree mean I pay for free?
Yes. Whether you are transferring funds to another Payfree member or paying a merchant, you don’t get charged. Your recipient, however, will be charged a minimum fee. For the fee structure, please click here.
How do I fund (load/top-up) my PayFree account [Online funding, OTC Bank deposit, ATM bills payment, SMS?
There are several ways to fund your PayFree ewallet: Online, Over-the-counter Bank Deposit, ATM Transfer, SMS.
A. Online
If you are an account holder of any of the following banks, you may need to enroll PayFree Corporation as a Third Party Account in your branch or online but the bank may require you to print the filled-out form and submit to your branch. In the Third Party Account form, specify Online Banking (OB) -and ATM Banking, if you want to make ATM transfers later on- enroll PAYFREE CORPORATION, and the corresponding bank account number shown below.

Once PayFree is enrolled as your Third Party Account, follow these steps in funding your PayFree eWallet account:
For Bancnetonline users:
1. Click here.
2. Click your bank name in the list
3. In the new window or tab that appears, click I agree button
4. Choose Interbank or Intrabank Fund Transfer
5. Make your destination account/target account/third party account the PayFree bank account that you have previously enrolled
6. Once successful, login to your PayFee account, click ADD FUNDS > ONLINE and fill out the Add Funds Fill Out Form, and/or email deposit details to support@payfree.com.ph, and if available, attach screenshot copy of the confirmation page.
For Non-Bancnet online users:
1. Login to your bank’s personal online banking account
2. Choose Fund Transfer
3. Key in the amount you want to fund your PayFree account with
4. Make your destination account/target account/third party account the PayFree bank account that you have previously enrolled
5. Once successful, login to your PayFee account, click ADD FUNDS > ONLINE and fill out the Add Funds Fill Out Form, and/or email deposit details to support@payfree.com.ph, and if available, attach screenshot copy of the confirmation page.
B. Over-the-Counter Bank Deposit
        1. Visit a branch of any of the banks listed above. You don’t have to be a depositor to do an OTC deposit.
        2. Fill out a Cash Deposit form:

        2. Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN).
        3. Select Fund Transfer.
        4. Select Transferee Bank (If your bank is in the list of PayFree banks listed above, choose that same bank. Otherwise, you may choose any of the listed PayFree banks)
        5. Enter the PayFree account number corresponding to the bank you have chosen (see list above).
        6. Select type of bank account to be used (Savings or Current)
        7. Enter the amount you want to pay.
        8. Don't forget your transaction receipt.

Some banks allow SMS transfer from your account to a Third Party account. Pre-enrolment of Third party account may be necessary. Please inquire with your bank as to how to transfer using your cellphone.

In what currency can I fund my PayFree?
Philippine Pesos. If you fund your PayFree using your US Dollars bank account, the currency will be converted to Philippine Pesos.
Can I fund my PayFree using my credit card?
Yes but limited only through Western Union.
Your account will be credited within 24 hours or 1 working day.
How do I use PayFree to pay online merchants?
PayFree members can make payments for goods and/or services to a PayFree merchant. Payments are instant and both parties will receive a confirmation email or SMS for proof of payment.
In order to transfer your funds into a merchant account
- Go to the merchant site
- Select products or services to buy, then checkout
- Upon checkout, you will be redirected to the PayFree payment form
- Verify if the payment details are accurate
- Login using your PayFree userID and Password to complete the payment
- When you login you will see your transaction details to the merchant site
- Once completed, you will be redirected to the merchant site.
How do I transfer fund to another PayFree member [online, SMS]?
A. Online
        1. Log in at: www.payfree.com.ph
        2. Click SEND MONEY > ONLINE
        3. Enter recipient’s UserID and amount to transfer
        4. Click “Submit”
B. SMS

Is there a maximum amount of money that I may transfer/receive?
Maximum transfer amount per transaction to other PayFree members P10,000. Maximum transfer amount per transaction to Merchants is unlimited. Maximum allowable balance at any given time: P50,000. To transfer more than P50,000, see Premium Transfer.
What is Premium Transfer?
Premium Transfer is your way of going around the maximum balance that your account can hold if you find a need to transfer or pay more than P50,000. Premium Transfer will not affect your PayFree account balance because the fund goes directly to the bank account or is check-issued in favor of your recipient. If the recipient is a Merchant, the fund goes directly to his PayFree account.
When to use Premium Transfer:
- Paying for tuition fees.
- Paying for an item more than P50k.
- Whenever there is a need to pay or transfer more than P50k.
For example: Tuition fee is P75,000. Instead of making several time-consuming transfers
(P50k and P25k), you may transfer P75k one time without affecting your balance.
How to do Premium Transfer?
- * Login in to your personal bank account and transfer desired amount to any of the PayFree bank accounts. You may also do an ATM transfer or Over-the-Counter deposit.
- * Login to your PayFree account. Click SEND MONEY > PREMIUM TRANSFER.

        1. Login to your PayFree account
        2. Click WITHDRAW MONEY
        3. Fill in amount to be withdrawn
        4. a. Choose Thru Bank if you want money deposited to your personal bank account. Fill in the details of bank account; or.
            b. Choose Thru Check if you want a check issued to your name and sent to your registered address; or,
            c. Choose Thru Debit Card if you want to withdraw your money at any ATM using the PayFree Debit Card.

How much can I withdraw?
You can withdraw as much as what you have in your account. But some bank ATMs may limit each withdrawal and total withdrawals per day.

How safe is my money? How secure is PayFree?
PayFree is committed to handling your customer information with high standards of information security. Your personal information is accessed only when necessary and each access to your personal information by our employees is tracked by PayFree Administrators.
We want our members to feel secure when shopping online. Before your information is transferred over the internet, we use a technology called Secure Socket Layer (128 bit SSL) to encrypt your sensitive information to ensure it is not legible by anyone on the internet during the transfer.
Your money is very safe with PayFree. Money in your account is YOUR money and will be always treated with care. Our numerous authentication methods ensure that only you have access to your funds. Our secure servers and application structure ensure only the appropriate people have access to PayFree information. Your account will not be closed or frozen unnecessarily.
What is the price of the Debit Cards?
Each card costs P100.00
What happens if I lose my ATM PIN?
You need to order a new card. Replacement card will cost you P150.
Can I get multiple Cards?
Yes. Maximum of 3 per account. Each extra card costs P100. To obtain more cards you need to open a new PayFree account.
How can I edit my email address, bank account, etc?
Login to your PayFree account and click ACCOUNT SUMMARY > PROFILE then edit information that you want changed.
How can I change my password?
To reset your password please refer to our site at www.payfree.com.ph and click on Lost Your Password. You will be requested to enter your username and an e-mail will be sent with a link for you to reset your password.
What benefits do I get by accepting PayFree as a mode of online payment?
        1. PayFree’s growing number of subscribers should be your no. 1 reason for accepting PayFree. Every time a member visits the merchants page, your company name -hyperlinked to your website, will appear. It’s all a numbers game. The more hits you get on your website, the more sales you get!
        2. Increase your sales without having to hire more sales people or spend so much in marketing and advertising.
        3. PayFree gives online customers several options to pay you –online or SMS.
        4. Customers who are averse to using credit cards online for fear of identity theft or credit card fraud will have a better, safer option in using an eWallet instead.
Is there a maximum amount of money that I may transfer/receive?
As a merchant, you may transfer or receive without limits.
How do I register as a merchant/online store?
        1. Download and fill out the Merchant Application form.
        2. Submit following documents together with completed Merchant Application Form:
                * SEC Certificate / Business Permit
                * Proof of Billing
        3. Download Integration Guide. Technical documentation on how to integrate PayFree to your website.
        4. After registration and payment of setup fees, you will receive an email confirmation and further instructions on integration.
